Buck was born in Austin, Texas in 1940. He went to his “Happy Hunting Grounds” January 3, 2026.
His younger years were spent on his parent's ranch in Zepher, Texas. Following his life on their ranch-Buck and his father, Mr. Mac, owned the Southwestern Billard Supply Company and famous Billiard Room known as the Cue and Triangle in Big Spring, Texas. It was in the Cue and Triangle Pool Room that many many business ideas were pondered over. Buck was a very different, bold person. He did all those “business ideas” with an attitude of never stopping.
His life was an adventure. Meeting him was memorable – wanting to know more about this person, Buck did more in one life than most only dream of doing. Someone you never forgot – telling story after story about him with an abundance of laughter.
Buck met his wife (to be) in 1955, Sammie Ann Gibson. He picked her up after school in Abilene, Texas for the rest of her life.
Buck’s children, grandchildren and great grandchildren hold him dearly in their hearts. Affectionately called him Grindad.
Buck and Sammie’s children: Sheri Ann Ellisor, David Lee McMullan, Kyle Mark McMullan. Ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren.
Go with God, Grindad. We all love you!
