Wendell Keith Hovorak

Wendell Keith Hovorak, 56, of Pflugerville, Texas, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023.

He was born on November 5, 1966, to Joe and Helen (Bishop) Hovorak in San Angelo, Texas.

Wendell was a unique individual who embraced life with an unwavering spirit, despite facing challenges. He found joy in the simple pleasures, and his love for Diet Coke was unmatched. Regardless of his partial blindness and hearing impairment, he had an extraordinary love for music, and his soul resonated with every beat. Wendell's incredible sense of humor brightened the lives of those around him, leaving a lasting impact. While his journey through life presented him with unique challenges, Wendell exemplified resilience and lived life to the fullest extent possible.

He was preceded in death by his parents and maternal and paternal grandparents.

Wendell is survived by numerous cousins and friends.

Graveside services will be held for Wendell on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Rowena Evergreen Cemetery with Marty Akins officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Rowena Evergreen Cemetery or a charity of your choice.

The family would like to thank the staff at Five Points Nursing and Rehabilitation of Pflugerville and St. Gabriel’s Hospice of Austin for their commitment and kindness while caring for Wendell.
