Terry Goetz 73, of Ballinger, Texas passed away peacefully Monday, September 7, 2026, at his residence.
Terry was born on August 23, 1953, in Taylor, Texas to Herman and Virginia Goetz.
Terry married Terri Mills on May 12, 1973. They spent 40 happy years together before she passed. Terry was blessed to find love again, and married Dawn Fournier on January 7, 2018.
In his younger years, he had a love for the outdoors and spent time with his family and sons fishing, hunting, and camping. He traveled many miles on his Harley Davidson. Terry was a jack of all trades, and if anyone in the family needed anything fixed, he was their first call. He loved to refurbish antiques; this brought him so much joy and happiness. Above all, he loved to spend any free time he had with his kids and grandchildren.
He was proceeded in death by his loving wife Terri Goetz, his parents Herman and Virginia Goetz, in laws Charles and Georgie Mills, his brother Randy Goetz and wife Sally, and brother-in-law JD Taylor, and nephew Joshua Dean Taylor.
Terry is survived by his wife Dawn, sons Chris Goetz and wife Dana of California, Ashley Goetz and wife Sheree of Ballinger, Justin Conger and wife Mallory of San Angelo, Jack Conger of Amarillo, and Jared Fournier and wife Falon of New Mexico. Terry is also survived by his grandkids Skyelar Goetz, Bodi Goetz, Landan Goetz, Colby Goetz, Hayden Conger, Ethan Conger, Harley Conger, Daniel Champion, Anora Champion, Calloway Fournier, and Lowell Fournier. His sister Janice Taylor, mother-in-law Shirley Esser, nephew TJ Goetz and wife Kayla, niece Amanda Southerland and husband Travis. He had a special bond with sisters-in-law Cathy Fields and Linda Miller and her husband Rob, as well as Tashia Trowbridge and husband Andrew, and Kristen, Paiten, and Rori Trowbrige. Along with many other brothers and sisters in laws and nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 11, 2026, in the chapel at Lange Funeral Home with Lynn Smith officiating.
The family would like to give a big thank you to the Ballinger Memorial Hospital along with Ballinger Hospice for the excellent care and beautiful friendships made during Terry’s time under their care. Make A Donation - Meals on Wheels
