Susan Hurt

Susan Hurt, 74, of Ballinger, Texas, passed away peacefully at Ballinger Healthcare and Rehab, on Monday, December 30, 2024

She was born on July 19, 1950, to Ralph Vernon Watson and Wanda Lois Bradshaw in Ballinger, Texas. 

Susan attended Ballinger High School and then went to college for her many degrees to become a nurse. She was an RN for Ballinger Memorial Hospital for most of her life and helped many people until she retired. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and enjoyed tending to her garden.

Susan is preceded in death by her mother Wanda Lois Batts and father Ralph Vernon Watson

She is survived by her brothers, Milton Watson and Sam Batts, and sister Vicki Stokes, sons Brian Ashton and wife Lisa, Bobby Oden, and Chuck Oden, and grandchildren Zach, Hayden, Miriam, and Ashlen.

A private family memorial will take place at a later date.
