Roberto Coronado

August 23, 1963 — March 25, 2021

Roberto(Bob) Coronado, age 57, passed away at Ballinger Memorial Hospital on March 25, 2021.

Robert or “ Uncle Bob” as he was affectionately known to family and close friends, first came to Ballinger in 2009 to visit his parents, Juanita and Roberto.  He quickly returned to call it home.

He grew up in Sundown, TX, and Denver, CO.  In 1983, he graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in Denver where he was quite the track star.

Robert was a very devoted Denver Broncos fan and always tried his best not to miss a single game. He always sported his Denver Bronco gear proudly.   He also loved jamming to his 80’s tunes and bands.

He is survived by his mother Juanita Coronado of Ballinger, sisters Janie Lark (Jeff), Frances Franco (Martin), Rosa Paige (Andrew), and Julie Loya (Joel); brothers, Raul Coronado(Vicky) and AJ Coronado.  He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews who will all miss their Uncle Bob. He will also be missed by his neighborhood friends and church family whom he loved dearly.

Robert is preceded in death by his father Roberto, his youngest sister Lupe Woodard and nephew Robert Paige and his beloved dog, Leo.

The family will have a private memorial service to lay him to rest at the Sundown Cemetery in Sundown, TX.
