Robert Mata, 61, of Ballinger, Texas, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022, at his residence.
He was born May 18, 1961, to Frank Lara Mata, Sr. and Irma (Martinez) Mata. After earning an associate degree, Robert became a CAD drafter, a career in which he excelled and one he deeply loved. He enjoyed fishing and kayaking and was a Metalica fan. Robert especially treasured his mother and her love.
Robert is survived by his parents, Frank and Irma Mata; his sister, Stephanie Mata; brothers, Frank Mata, Jr., Anthony Mata, and Mario Joseph Mata.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
