Rebecca "Becky" Fuentes

Rebecca “Becky” Fuentes, 59, of Ballinger passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, May 15, 2026, in San Angelo, Texas. She was born on December 3, 1966, in Winters, Texas to Otto and Dominga Cortez.

Becky married the love of her life, Raymond Fuentes, on April 14, 2018, in Ballinger, Texas. Together they built a life filled with laughter, love, family, and faith. Becky had a heart bigger than life itself and never met a stranger. Whether through a warm meal, homemade dessert, or simply her radiant smile, she made everyone around her feel welcomed and loved. Cooking and baking were more than hobbies to Becky, they were her way of showing the people she loved the most how much she loved and cared about them.

Her greatest joy in life was her family. She deeply loved her children and grandchildren and treasured every moment spent with them. Becky was also devoted to her church family at House of Prayer and was always willing to lend a helping hand in her community.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Santos and Dominga Uresti; her sister, Gloria Reyes; her brother, Phillip Cortez; and her mother-in-law, Elvira Fuentes.

She leaves behind a family who adored her, including her loving husband, Raymond Fuentes; her sons, Anthony Ramirez and Addam Ramirez and bonus son, Paul Irlas; her beloved grandchildren; and many extended family members and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the chapel at Lange Funeral Home. A funeral service celebrating Becky’s life will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at The First Baptist Church in Ballinger, Texas with Marty Akins officiating.

The family kindly asks everyone attending to wear bright colors in honor of Becky and the warmth and light she brought into the lives of so many.
