Pamela Kay Ross

April 8, 1963 — May 1, 2026

Ballinger, Texas

Pamela “Pam” Kay Ross, 63, of Ballinger, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2026. She was born on April 8, 1963, in Albuquerque, New Mexico to William and Janet Ashton.

Pam married the love of her life, Blaine Ross, on April 6, 1984, in Red River, New Mexico. During their time in New Mexico, Pam and Blaine owned and operated a screen-printing business together, building not only a livelihood but a partnership grounded in love and teamwork. Later, they moved to Ballinger, Texas, to care for her father, a decision that reflected Pam’s devotion to her family. What began as a move to help soon became home, and Ballinger remained their home thereafter.

Pam lived a life rooted in simplicity and quiet joy. She found happiness in the little things spending time sewing, caring for her animals, and especially doting on her beloved cats. She had a gentle spirit and a kind heart that will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Janet Ashton.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 42 years, Blaine Ross; her sister, Debbie Melzo; her nephew, Nick; and her nieces, Tammy and Kelly.

Honoring Pam’s wishes, no services will be held at this time.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Humane Society of Ballinger in Pam’s memory.
