Myrtie Lue Bingham

Myrtie Lue Bingham, of Ballinger, Texas passed away peacefully at 86 years of age on August 28, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Myrtie was born on May 29, 1940, in Millersview, Texas to William and Ruby Lumbley. Her family moved to Eden where she grew up, and where she attended school and graduated from Eden High School.

She was married on September 28, 1960, to Dewey Fleet Bingham Jr, and they were married for 50 years until he preceded her in death on February 15, 2010.

For many years, she worked as a waitress at Morocco Cafe, then she worked ten years for Farm Bureau Insurance agency. Myrtie began studying the Bible in 1960 and she followed her heart's calling, by dedicating her life to serving Jehovah and sharing her faith with others. She was dedicated in July 1963. She served Jehovah faithfully for 6 decades, and this brought her so much joy!

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother whose comfort and love truly brought so many together and closer to Jehovah.

She is survived by her daughters Koneta Garcia, and her husband Julio Abundez Garcia; and Ruby Carlin; her son Dewey Fleet Bingham, III; her grandsons, Julio Jeremy Garcia, and Colton Shawn Garcia; her granddaughters, Lyndsay Leishea Prickett, and her husband Johnny Prickett; and Brittany Monet Chantal Vaughn; and her great-grandchildren, Nichole Faith Vaughn Garcia, Nicholas Wayne Vaughn Garcia, and Omni Hernandez.

Myrtie was preceded in death by her parents, William Thomas Lumbley and Ruby Levada (Flippin) Lumbley; her brothers William Lumbley and Bob Lumbley; her sisters, Martha Mitchell and Iva Devoss.

Myrtie will be deeply missed by all who knew her and loved her!

A memorial service will be held on September 12th, 2026, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses in San Angelo, Texas.
