Monica Rodriguez Gomez

Monica Rodriguez Gomez, 91, of Ballinger, Texas passed away peacefully in her home on August 29, 2026. She was born on May 4, 1935, to Dario Rodriguez and Menchora Martinez Rodriguez.

Monica is proceeded in death by her husband of 52 years Jessie Escobar Gomez, her parents Dario and Menchora Rodriguez, and her sister Macaria Pena.

Monica is survived by her son Jerry Gomez and wife Estella, daughters Carol Kay Nombrano and Diane Guebara and husband Pete, grandchildren Christopher Low and wife Eloisa, Jerry Gomez II, Alissa Dena, and Stephen Guebara. She is also survived by her sisters Olivia Terrasaz and Margaret Garcia.

A funeral service honoring Monica will be held in the chapel at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger, Texas on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 10:00 am with pastor Israel Flores officiating. Her burial will follow at Garden of Memories in the Evergreen Cemetery in Ballinger, Texas.
