Marion Alice Dahmann

Marion Alice Dahmann, 55, of Manor, Texas, formerly of Ballinger, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2023, at North Austin Medical Center, in Austin, Texas.

She was born on Sunday, February 11, 1968, to Fred and Dorothy (Cox) Dahmann, in San Angelo, Texas. Alice graduated from Ballinger High School in 1986. She later moved to Gatesville where she worked as a prison guard before moving to Manor. Alice was very active in the Noon Lion’s Club, the Sons of Hermann, and countless other volunteer opportunities. She was an avid Bearcat fan and never missed a game if she could help it. Not only did she support the football team, she would often lend a hand in the concession stand when she was home for a game, unless she was cheering on the band at halftime. Alice had strong faith and was a kind person; the world was a better place with her in it and she will be missed. Alice never knew a stranger.

Alice was preceded in death by her father and her niece, Kaylee Aguirre.

She leaves behind her mother, Dorothy of Austin, sister Judith and husband Reynaldo of Austin, brother David Dahmann of Manor, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A time of visitation will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023, at Lange Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Lange Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Old Runnels Cemetery, in Ballinger.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Foundation or a charity of your choice.

Alice was also an organ donor and donated her corneas to someone in need.
