Juanita Galvan Picon, 93, of San Angelo formerly of Ballinger, passed away Friday, September 9, 2022, at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo, Texas.
She was born May 20, 1929, in Hatchel, Texas to Julio Galvan, Sr., and Ricarda Castellano.
She had lived in Ballinger nearly all of her life and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and homemaker.
Juanita is preceded in death by her husband Guadalupe “Lupe” Picon, Sr.; sister Margaret Lopez; and brother José Galvan.
Juanita is survived by her children; Marie Picon, Lupe Picon, Jr., Tony Picon, Julie Gonzales, Patsy Edwards, and Rebecca Luera; numerous grand and great-grandchildren; sisters, Antonio Gonzales, Jovita San Miguel, Maria Jalomo, Severina Aguero, Feliciana Galvan, and Lupe Villarreal; and brothers, Julio Galvan, Jr., Juan Galvan, Mike Galvan, Ysaias Galvan.
