John "David" Haston

John “David” Haston, 59, of Ballinger, Texas, passed away on January 31, 2023, in Abilene, Texas.

David was born on February 25, 1963, to Annie Haston and Johnny Haston.  He was a loving son, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend.  He never met a stranger and was known very well around Ballinger, as he would always take the time to talk your ear off.

David is preceded in death by his father Johnny Haston, and his sisters Jo Lynn Haston and Linda Haston-Ely.  David is survived by his mother, Annie Haston of Ballinger, Texas; his three children Jeremy David Haston of Granite City, Illinois, Siri Dawn Bright of Ballinger, Texas, and Sean Michael Haston of Elgin, Texas; and several grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 8, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
