Joann Mccord

JoAnn McCord, 85, passed away on December 9, 2019, at Central Texas Nursing and Rehab in Ballinger, Texas.

JoAnn was born on Saturday, February 10, 1934, in San Angelo, TX to Willard and Totsie Ellis Deaton. She married the love of her life Jimmie McCord on March 29, 1953, in Ozona, Texas. JoAnn loved to play piano and sing along, rock hunting with her family, walking along the creek and especially her cats and dogs.

She is preceded in death by her parents Willard and Totsie Deaton.

JoAnn is survived by her husband Jimmie McCord; daughter Mary Sorrells and husband Arnold of Hobbs, New Mexico; daughter D'Ann McCord of Ballinger; son Jimmy Roy McCord and wife Sandra of Burnet, Texas; grandchildren Steven, Scott, Staci, Jimmy, Brandon, and Matthew; and 10 great-grandchildren

Visitation for JoAnn will be held on Thursday, the 12th of December 2019 from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Lange Funeral Home.

Graveside Service will we held on Friday, December 13, 2019, at 2:00 PM at Fairmount Cemetery in San Angelo, Texas. Kenneth Plumley will be officiating.
