Jennifer Ann Hallmark, 50, of Rotan, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, February 27, 2026.
Jennifer was born on September 18, 1975, in Abilene, Texas to Jerry Hallmark and Debra Stevens Boyce. From the very beginning, she brought joy and light to those around her. She had a deep love for country music and listened to it every chance she could — and heaven help the person who tried to turn it off, because they would quickly receive “the look.” That playful expression became one of the many cherished memories her family will forever hold dear.
Jennifer’s heart was fullest when she was loving on her babies and her treasured Raggedy Ann dolls. She delighted in dressing them up and carefully placing jewelry on them, creating her own little world filled with warmth and imagination. She also adored her kitty cats and found such happiness in their company. Jennifer was known for her constant smile and her sweet, contagious laugh that could brighten even the darkest day.
She was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Herman and Margaret Hallmark.
Jennifer leaves behind a family who loved her beyond measure: her father, Jerry Hallmark (Patti); her mother, Debra Boyce (Jerry); her brothers, Jeff Hallmark (Susan), Jason Hallmark (Missy), Beau Dempsey (Holly), and Paige Dempsey (Janelle); her sister, Jaime McNab (Brandon); nine nieces and nephews; and two great-nephews. She also leaves behind two very special caregivers from Angel Care in Rotan, Sue Carrillo and Buffy Sipe, whose compassionate hearts and devoted care meant so much to Jennifer and her family.
A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 2, 2026, in the chapel at Lange Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Mike Harkrider officiating, burial will follow at Old Runnels Cemetery in Ballinger.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Angel Care staff for their loving care of Jennifer. Your compassion and love will never be forgotten.
Jennifer’s life was a beautiful reminder that joy is found in the simple things, in music playing a little too loud, in well-loved dolls adorned with sparkling jewelry, in the comfort of a purring cat, and in the warmth of family. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
