Inge Gertrude Greer, age 91, of Ballinger, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, March 23, 2026.
She was born on June 2, 1934, in East Prussia, Germany. Inge carried with her a deep pride in her German heritage and her accomplishments, including earning her sewing degree in Germany, an achievement she held dear throughout her life. She had a gift for bringing people together, and her love of cooking and hospitality made everyone feel welcome in her home. Inge had a radiant presence; she could truly light up a room. She also took great pride in her appearance and carried herself with grace and dignity.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, and devoted father to their children, Robert William Greer; her grandson, Christopher Lee Glass; her identical twin sister, Ursula Gerde Miller; and her brother-in-law, Edward Joshua Miller.
Inge is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Baker and husband Thomas D. “Doug”Baker, and Inge Price and husband Jerry Price. She leaves behind a legacy of love in her grandchildren: Christina Michelle McClellan and husband Nathan Paul McClellan, Mallory Lynn Green and husband Tyler Green, Valory Nicole McClellan and husband Greg Gomez, Sebastian Paul McClellan, James Colby Glass and wife Jeninne, and James Christopher Glass “Jace.”
She is also survived by her cherished great great grandchildren, Juniper Green, Sage Green, Gohan Gomez, and Jessica; as well as her niece, Theresa Maria Torres, and nephew, Davin Lee Holt.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Evergreen Cemetery in Ballinger, Texas, with Fr. Ariel Lagunilla officiating.
Inge will be remembered for her warmth, elegance, and the love she shared so freely with all who knew her.
