Gerald Herbert Fitzgibbon

Gerald Herbert Fitzgibbon, 91, of Ballinger, Texas, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at his home.

He was born August 24, 1927, in Springfield, Massachusetts, to Gerald M. and Louise (Hausser) Fitzgibbon.  Gerald proudly and honorably served his country as a Marine in World War II.  He married Irene Sue Davis on October 9, 1970, in San Francisco, California, and the couple moved to Ballinger fourteen years ago.  His life reflected his wide-ranging achievements, interests, and skills.

Gerald is survived by his wife, Sue, of Ballinger; son, Gerald D. and wife, Dawn, of Nevada City, California; and by a granddaughter, Nico Fitzgibbon.
