George Leroy Covert

George Leroy Covert, born on August 26, 1945, fell asleep in death on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at the age of 79.
He is survived by his children, Rebecca Morgan (Rob LaVohn), Timothy (Beverly) Covert, Hannah (Jay) Stone, and Joseph (Amber) Covert, along with his 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, who affectionately knew him as “Pawpaw”.
He was predeceased by his wife, Geraldine “Gerry” Ann (Luberts) Covert, his parents, James Damon Covert, Sr. and Julia Ann (Hardcastle) Covert, as well as three brothers and one sister.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 2:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1501 S. US Hwy 87, Fredericksburg TX.
