Gary Lyndon Hargrove, 66, of San Angelo, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 6th, 2022 at Shannon Medical Center after losing his battle to Covid 19.
He was born July 7th, 1955 to Dudley and Billie Hargrove in Ballinger, Texas. Gary was loved by so many and described as hard-working, kind, caring, soft-spoken, generous, and hilarious, to name a few. Gary enjoyed the simple pleasures in life such as barbeques, football (Dallas Cowboys) fishing, music, and pranking anytime he got the chance. Most of all Gary treasured his time with all his family and friends.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents Dudley and Billie Hargrove, his brother Richard W. Hargrove, and brother-in-law Robin Scalf.
He is survived by his children, Jennifer Asbill and husband Scott of Eden, son Michael Hargrove of San Angelo, daughter Sara Foust and husband Kyle of San Angelo, and son Timothy Hargrove of San Angelo. Gary is also survived by his sisters Jackie Ogilvy and husband Thomas and Kathy Scalf of San Angelo. His grandchildren Kaitlyn, Taylor, Zachary, Haylea, Kobe, Rylie, Christopher, and Jordan, great-grandchildren Laylah, Briella, and Oakley, and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held for Gary on Friday, February 11th, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Ballinger, Texas, with Marty Akins officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Coleman County Medical Center, Rust Street Ministries, or a charity of choice in Gary's honor.
The family wishes to thank the incredible staff at Coleman County Medical Center and Coleman Healthcare Center for their tender love and care of Gary during his time there.
