Gary Don Fischer

Gary Don Fischer was born in Ballinger, Texas on October 1, 1958, to Ivan and Carrol (Kasberg) Fischer, He passed away on August 3, 2026, in San Angelo, Texas.

A Rosary will be held at 9:30 am on Saturday, August 8, 2026, with his Mass of Christian burial to follow at 10:00 am Boniface Catholic Church in Olfen, Texas. Internment will be at St Boniface Cemetery in Olfen.

Gary graduated in 1977 from Lohn High School, Lohn, Texas and from Western Texas College in Snyder, Texas as a welder and a diesel mechanic in 1979.

He was married to Melissa Hight and they had two children, Traccy and Justin.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Ivan and Carrol Fischer and his brother Douglas Fischer.

Gary is survived by his daughter, Traccy Delarosa and her husband Jordan of Ozona; his son Justin Fischer of San Angelo; and his beloved grandson Isaiah Delarosa. His brothers and their wives: Steve and Linda of Pear Valley, David and Cherlian of Eola, Robert and Donna of Veribest as well as his sister Carolyn Dodson and her husband Bill of Veribest. As well as many nieces and nephews.
