Donald Raymond Fisher, 76 of Ballinger, was taken too early from his family in a tragic car accident early morning on Tuesday, June 30, 2020.
Donald was born November 9, 1943, to the late Arthur and Helen (Dornhoefer) Fisher of Lowake, Texas. His siblings, Robert Fisher of Ballinger and the late Mary Ann Fisher Jones. He graduated from Paint Rock Highschool in 1962, and still loved to attend community activities and homecoming. Donald served honorably in the United States Military in the National Guard. He loved history and treasure hunting. Donald loved his family, his farm life, and his 2 miniature Schnauzers; Pepper and Shadow.
Donald was married to his best friend and love of his life, Patricia Cooley Fisher.
He leaves behind three loving children; daughter, Michelle Fisher Nail, and husband Billy; and sons Michael Fisher and wife Melissa, and Scott Fisher and wife Simona.
Donald is also survived by his two children from a previous marriage; daughter, Marie Fisher and son, Johnny Fisher.
Donald is remembered by his precious grandchildren Braidin, Sandra, Emoni, Audra, Cameron, Hector and Emma; and great-grandson Alexzander.
It was his and Patricia's wish to be cremated and that some of his ashes be spread around his farm.
A visitation for Donald will be held Thursday, July 2, 2020, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Ballinger Volunteer Fire Department and EMS in Donald's honor or to a charity of choice in his name.
