Bobby Wayne Campbell, 56, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2022, at his home in Ballinger, Texas.
He was born on February 16, 1966, to Gary Doyle Campbell and Linda Harmon in Midland, Texas. His stepmother, Linda Campbell also helped raise him when he was growing up. After graduating from high school, Bobby went on to pursue a passion in bull riding along with a long career as an HVAC technician. He loved so many things, fishing, BBQing, gardening, the Ballinger Bearcats, the Dallas Cowboys, John Wayne, and his favorite hobby of all was trot-lining. He also loved to take vacations with his family, Schlitterbahn most of all, and country road drives to the park and the one mile. He would only listen to AM Radio 1400 and never changed the station, even for a Bearcat game. He was an avid believer of hard work and dedication. Above all, he loved the cowboy life, being a brother, a father to his only child, Danelle, and his Red Heeler Boo. He was most proud of his family.
Bobby is preceded in death by his father, Gary Doyle Campbell, and his brother Terry Campbell.
He is survived by his daughter Danelle Campbell and fiancé Nathan Jenkins of San Angelo, Texas, his mother, Linda Collier of Ballinger, Texas, his brother Shannon Campbell of Ballinger, Texas, his sister Shiela Campbell of Midland, Texas, his brother Gordon Yarbrough of Houston, Texas, his nephew Justin Campbell of Fairfield, Texas, and his nephew Terry Junior Campbell of Austin, Texas. He is also survived by those who helped shape his life, his aunt Nancy Plunk of Midland, Texas, his aunt Marsha Cook of Odessa, Texas, and close family friends Jim Collier of Midland, Texas, Jana Fox of San Angelo, Texas, and Julia Grey of San Angelo, Texas.
