Born April 10, 1932, Bobby was an amazing Dad, sibling, uncle & friend to

anyone that knew him. He never met a stranger, always had a smile on his

humble life & never lost his sense of humor. He was a provider & someone to

  look up to.

He achieved the honor of Eagle Scout in Boy Scouts when he was twelve

years of age. His life was exemplary of all Scout Laws, (trustworthy,

loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty,

brave, clean & reverent to God, his family & others). He was so very

generous with his time & always kept the best attitude, even at the most

  difficult of times.

He is survived by his four sons, Robby & wife Susie of Ballinger, Kenny of

Ore City, TX, Scotty of Ballinger, Brad & wife Keri of Sherman, TX.

Antonio & Pete & Ginger Bryan of Ballinger. Step-grandsons include Justin

  Patsy Parker & Glenda Wood.

Bobby served his country in the Naval Reserves & his home town community

selling cars, insurance & as the Runnels County Treasurer. He was voted

Citizen of the Year & won First Place in Ballinger's Chamber of Commerce &

the Ballinger Ledger's "Most Friendly, Most Courteous Clerk" Contest when

he worked for Holbrooks Office Supply. Bobby was a member of the local

Jaycees & Rotary Club, Secretary of the Youth Department for the First

Baptist Church, Secretary of the Quarterback Club & an avid Ballinger

  Bearcat supporter.

A celebration of Bobby's life will be held at 11:00 AM in Ballinger at the

First Christian Church at 401 N. Broadway Street on May 18, 2019. There

will be no burial service because Bobby donated his body to the Anatomy

Department of Texas Tech University Health Science Center, whereas, even in

death, he is giving back for the goodness of humanity.

A special heartfelt thanks from the family goes out to Ballinger Home

Health & Hospice for allowing Dad to live at home as long as possible, to

Ballinger Healthcare & Rehabilitation & Shannon Hospital In San Angelo who

did their best to ease his pain. A special thank you to the Doctors,

nurses, aids & Meals on Wheels volunteers. Family & friends are not to be

excluded in this thank you for everyone that pitched in & helped us take

  care of him.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the American

Heart Association, Meals on Wheels or a favorite charity or church.
