Albert Rodriquez, 64, of Stamford, Texas, passed away on May 2, 2026, in Ballinger, Texas.
Albert was born on July 6, 1961, to Matias and Juliana Rodriquez in Garden City, Kansas. From the very beginning, he was someone who brought warmth and energy wherever he went. His presence could light up a room.
To know Albert was to know laughter. He loved to joke around, tell stories, and put a smile on people’s faces, whether you needed it or not. He had a big heart and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. If something needed fixing or building, Albert was the one you called, he truly enjoyed woodworking and creating things with his hands, and he took pride in every project.
Above all, Albert’s greatest joy was his family. He loved his daughters and grandchildren more than anything, and he never missed a chance to talk about them or spend time with them. His “pet kids” held a special place in his heart as well, and they were just as much a part of the family to him.
Albert was also a devoted fan of the San Francisco 49ers and the Oklahoma Sooners, rarely missing a chance to cheer on his favorite teams. He loved to eat, loved to laugh, and loved making memories, especially during his and Sandy’s cherished date nights. Those moments together meant the world to him.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Matias and Juliana Rodriquez: his brother, Alex; his sisters, Hortencia Rodriquez, and Martha Esquivel.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sandy Rodriquez, who was his partner in everything; his daughters, Heather Marie Rodriquez, Ashley Nicole Rodriquez, and Angelica Maria Rodriquez; and stepdaughters, Courtney Schnell, Sabrina Stockton, and their kids; his treasured grandchildren, Andrew Ross Wylie, Jr., Hailee Marie Wylie, Allie Nichole Rodriquez, Jordan Elizabeth Reddick, Mikeal Scott Warlick, and Jaida Ann Reddick. He is also survived by his sisters, Eva Gonzalez (Frank) and Delia Martinez, his brothers Fermin Rodriquez (Karen) and Johnny Rodriquez, along with many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all those who have offered their love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Your kindness and compassion mean more than words can express.
A rosary honoring Albert will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, May 7, 2026, in the chapel at Lange Funeral Home.
Albert will be remembered for his big heart, his sense of humor, and the way he made people feel…welcomed, valued, and loved. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will continue to bring smiles, just
