Ethel Paula Smith

Ethel Paula Smith, 92, passed away November 26, 2013 at her residence in Long Beach, California.

She was born August 5, 1921 to Ross and Lena Bell (Clayton) Martin in Talpa, Texas. She married Jack Stubbs and shortly after they moved to California. Ethel worked as a retail clerk for 25 years and sold Merle Norman cosmetics for 38 years. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sisters, and daughter, Katherine.

Ethel is survived by her two daughters; Patricia Vaught of Seal Beach, CA and Julie Steinman of Renton, WA and . Also surviving are five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, nieces, a great nephew and niece, and cousins.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on December 13 at Talpa Cemetery in Talpa, TX.
