Lyle Jay Currie, Jr., 90, of Ballinger passed away Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Ballinger Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 30, 1921 in Ballinger to Lyle and W. Bea (McClure) Currie. He proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII. Lyle and Patricia Bilger were married in 1985 in Ballinger. He was an area rancher for many years and lived a full, active life.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 27 at 9:30 am at Evergreen Cemetery in Ballinger.
He is survived by his children and his wife, Patricia, of Ballinger.
