Mary Elva Campbell

Mary Elva Campbell, 87, of Ballinger passed away Friday, July 15, 2011 at Central Texas Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Ballinger.

She was born August 1, 1923 in Albany to William Edgard and Mary Jane (Simpson) DeVore. She worked as a waitress and was a member of Oak Street Baptist Church in Abilene.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, a brother and a son, Jerry Wade Brown.

Mary is survived by a daughter, Virginia Brewer, a son, Earl Brown and wife, Peggy, all of Ballinger; and a sister, Barbara Ann Tucker of Lubbock.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 17 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at Lange Funeral Home in Ballinger. Funeral service will be held Monday, July 18 at 11:00 am at Seventh Street Baptist Church in Ballinger with burial following in the Ballinger Garden of Memories.
